菱镁矿在1400-1800℃煅烧时，二氧化碳完全逸出，氧化镁形成方镁石致密块体，称重烧镁（又称硬烧镁、死烧镁、僵烧镁等），这种重烧镁具有很高的耐火度。其主要成分为氧化镁，选用天然特级菱镁矿石经浮选提纯、轻烧、细磨、高压压球、超高温油竖窑煅烧而成。

When magnesite is calcined at 1,400-1,800°C, carbon dioxide completely escapes, and the magnesium oxide forms dense blocks of periclase, which is known as dead burnt magnesite (also known as hard burned magnesia, dead burned magnesia, etc.), this kind of dead burned magnesite has a very high degree of fire resistance. The main composition is magnesium oxide, which is made by selecting natural super-grade magnesite through flotation purification, light firing, fine grinding, high-pressure ball pressing and calcination in ultra-high temperature oil shaft kiln.

 用途：冶金行业中的耐火材料，用于制造镁砖、铬镁砖、镁砂、冶金粉。
